The validation stage is a 'site survey' designed to qualify the opportunity.
There are two purposes to the site survey. The first is to evaluate the feasibility and cost of installing a VPO® unit (an accurate install cost will allow for a final Return on Investment figure on which to base investment decisions). Secondly, the site survey validates the information we have collected in the appraisal stage.
As a part of our service we manage the installation of the unit. We use a network of 15 electrical Approved Contractors as installation partners. Each has installed a minimum of 100 powerPerfector units. These installation partners have been selected based on their capabilities and quality. They have then been assessed and trained by us to make sure they meet the high standards of safety and quality that we demand for our clients. As such, they are industry experts at installing voltage optimisation equipment.
Our installation partners will assess the site to find the safest, most cost effective installation method. We have the ability to deliver and install units into almost any environment:
• On rooftops via cranes
• External units protected from the elements
• Confined spaces with custom made enclosure
• Deliveries through restricted or fragile routes
• Secure areas, such as prisons
Once our installation partners have designed the installation, our team of qualified field engineers assesses the cost and quality of the plans and we are able to provide this information to you.
Our installation partners record extensive information about the site to help us validate the information we have already received. Our site survey form records the voltages, currents, maximum demand, types of equipment and many other pieces of information.
The site survey allows the project manager to assess the information found onsite against the information found in the Appraisal. It can sometimes be the case that site staff are unaware of the equipment used onsite and this sense-checking survey allows us to be sure the correct solution has been selected for the site.
By the end of the Validation stage we are able to offer our clients a solution specific to their needs, which comes with the security of our industry leading engineering department and our savings guarantee.
